The Nemean Lion

King Eurystheus's first task would be to bring him the skin of an invulberable lion that has terrorized the hills around Nemea.

After tracking down this monsterous beast, Hercules wrapped his arms around it's neck and chocked it to death.  He then skinned it with the lion's own claws.

Upon returning to the city, the king became afraid of Hercules. He forbade Hercules from entering the city, and sent his orders through a herald from now on.
